Arriving at the pair of Victorian cliff lifts the

audience are greated by a performer, and

invited to steps into John's world; his dreams

and his loss.

John is a recently bereaved widower talking

with visitors as he tries to come to terms with

what has happened. Set in balance is the

other lift holding the life that he and his wife

were building together.
